Abstract:
Smart city is currently the need of the hour for major cities in India. Looking at the trend where the people are shifting in urban areas. Smart city aims at improving the quality of life of its residents with the integration of information technology with infrastructure and communication. This research paper focuses on the concept of smart mobility which is achievable through smart transportation. Some factors help to achieve smart traffic management i.e. High Power Camera, Solar Road Marking, Automatic Traffic Signal, Pre Booking Parking etc. This paper describes these factors and how its help to reduce traffic congestion, accidents etc. “All About Vehicle” mobile application will help to control rash drivers, over speed vehicles, avoid traffic rulers etc. E-penalty will play a vital role to improve the
idle condition.
