Abstract:
The dissertation work is to study the influence of FLY ASH and ALCCOFINE 1203 in achieving High strength concrete (HSC). High strength concrete requires high amount of cement compared to the nominal grade. Several research works have been carried out in past decades confining to admixtures which provide the pathway to identify supplementary cementitious material. This study investigates the performance of various mixtures which are partially replacing with cement includes 30% fly ash with 0% alccofine 1203, 30% fly ash with 4% alccofine 1203, 30% fly ash with 8% alccofine 1203, 30% fly ash with 12% alccofine 1203 respectively. Conplast SP430 of 1.5% for every specimen is used in order to improve the workability of the mix. Specimens are casted for M60 grade as per mix design. Concrete specimens are tested for mechanical properties which include compressive strength test, split tensile strength and flexural strength test. Ultrasonic pulse velocity test used to assess the quality of concrete.
