Abstract:
Camouflage Robot plays a vital role in saving human lives as well as the damages that can occur during disasters. The robot basically consists of a vehicle mounted with a camera which captures the images and detects texture accordingly as part of camouflaging feature and the same camera is used for surveillance purposes. In the proposed work, a Wi-Fi module is used to handle the robot. The robot can quietly enter into enemy area and send information via camera to the controller. Thus it can be used for spy operations in war fields. One of the salient features of this robot is camouflaging (imitating the surrounding texture on its surface). Because of this feature the robot cannot be easily detected by enemies [1]. The movement of the robot is wirelessly controlled via a controlling PC. It is inspired by creatures such as chameleon. Experimental set ups of the proposed camouflaging system has been proven to be effective for quick adaptability to the environment.
