Abstract:
In construction industry retrofitting is mainly used for repairing the old structures, but use of FRP is proving to be better than the conventional methods of retrofitting. This paper provides the literature review of the different authors who has studied on the FRP composites, beams, T beams, and beams with openings. The study provides good data on the FRP use, opening dimensions and different loading conditions to be applied on the beam.
