Abstract:
In now a day, Fuel theft is increasing issue in vehicles. It affects on a financial loss. To avoid this we are implementing a wireless fuel level monitoring system. This system uses Hall Effect sensor & GSM modem. Hall effect sensor is for sensing the amount of fuel filled in the vehicle and amount of fuel consumed. In this system owner get information about content of fuel in tank through PIC 18F458. The system includes Microcontroller, GSM module, LCD and a keypad. The fuel level sensor will continuously monitor the fuel level if there is drastic change in the fuel level then sensor give particular signal to the microcontroller and user get information through microcontroller in text format. This smart system gives 24x7access to fuel consumption, alerts when there is sudden decrease in fuel level of tank.
