Abstract:
The objective of the present paper study is to explore application of nonlinear FE modelling and analysis of Reinforced Concrete (RC) member and it’s retrofitting with FRP wrapping technique. For that RC beam and short column experimental dimension considered as 230mm x 350mm x 750mm and 300mm x 300mm x 800mm respectively. Experimental of beam and short column modelling and analysis using Finite Element software ABAQUS. The parameter was studied including the number of FRP layers in experimental and ABAQUS considered. Beams and short columns wrapped using CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) composites. To obtain results analytically and experimentally with and without wrapping technique.
