Abstract:
Centrifugal barrel finishing (CBF), like other mass finishing processes, uses media, compound, and water to deburr and surface finish components. The difference between this and other processes is that centrifugal action results in a very fast, highly controllable operation. The process, sometimes called mass orbital barrel finishing, maintains a smooth rubbing action with little or no workpiece impingement, making it possible to produce fine finishes on precision and fragile parts. Our project objective to find out the optimum process parameter for the centrifugal barrel machine for the operation deburring and polishing. In our industry near about 80% products of company passed from the deburring and polishing operation. So that is important and necessary to find out the optimum parameter for deburring and polishing. For finding the optimum result we collect the process parameters from the industry for the deburring and polishing.
