Abstract:
This papers presents the results related to design of earthquake resistant building with live load, dead loads; and earthquake loads, the design is based upon the analysis of all structural elements such as slab, column, beam, shear wall, etc. The specifications of IS 456:2000, IS 1893(Part II) and IS 1893(Part IV) with working stress and limit stress are being considered in this design. Dimension of slab is considered as given IS Code 456:2000 recommendation, column size, diameter and depth taken as according to loads and total area as per referred by IS Code. Depth of foundation is based upon the load bearing capacity of the soil being tested through our survey and investigations, which fulfil the criterions of IS code.
