Abstract:

Human Computer Interaction(HCI) is a widely popular field with new techniques being developed to make interaction user friendly. The previous techniques could not resolve a lot of drawbacks which led to the need to develop more modern techniques. This paper lists a few such techniques which use kinesics for interacting with the computer. We have compared various techniques such as eye tracking, motion gesture, touch gesture and finger tracking. and provided a detailed summary of each technique. Also, we have mentioned a real time example where multi-display environment is used.
